The Opportunity:
As the Student Resource Navigator for Student Affairs, you are responsible for intervention, support, and prevention programs that assist students encountering challenges impacting their academic and personal success. You coordinate the intake process for students seeking support from the Student Care Team, respond to student questions and requests for support, and provide advising and counseling to help students navigate resources effectively.

This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3,750.85 - $4,250 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidateâs current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelorâs degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Masterâs degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearâforâyear basis.
Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and positively in a diverse team environment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to details, organized, and multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
Experience working with diverse faculty, students, staff, and parents and families of students.
Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and leadership, including the ability to work independently.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include working extended time frames, including late hours and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous work experience at an institution of higher education.
Experience working with Maxient Software.
Experience working with Title IX, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Title II, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other regulations associated with the position.
