Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position is

$35.50-$52.56 Hourly

however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Title: System Administrator

Work Schedule for this Position: M-F 8am-5pm

Position Overview:

Installs, configures, and maintains software and hardware associated with LAN and WAN networks. Interfaces with other departments, vendors, or consultant to resolve network/network security problems. Ensures conformance with IT and organizational objectives. Also maintains compliance with regulatory security adherence to HIPAA guidelines and other government entities. Provides training or individual assistance other team members as needed. Oversees configuration, backup and security procedures pertaining to all networking hardware and security software. Plans for hardware and software upgrades. Coordinates the work of outside specialists specifically relevant to networking needs of the organization.

A Day in the Life:

  • Prioritizes time management effectively and contributes to the development of strategic objectives for Information Systems.
  • Actively seeks out additional technical, organizational, and professional resources by participating in online training courses that provide information regarding components of the information system at Pullman Regional Hospital.
  • Works in conjunction with IT Team members and/or end users to brainstorm, analyze, and develop solutions to technical or process issues.
  • Support-oriented personality and proven client relations skills. Analytical, detail-oriented, effective communicator. Is able to teach others and effectively train users.
  • Assists to support the various EMR platforms and their various components.
  • Assists to support Windows server, electronic messaging, and other components.
  • Demonstrates advanced abilities for troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues.
  • Assists to support Cisco network and supporting infrastructure and to support telecommunications and related components.
  • Works with Information Technology Team and personnel from other departments to develop, implement, maintain, and utilize new and existing technologies.
  • Acts as a technical consultant and resource to other departments as required.
  • Participates in the on-call rotation.
  • Strives to provide quality customer service and actively solicits feedback from others to ensure a continued high level of performance.
  • Reviews project list with the Information Technology Team on a daily basis to assure satisfaction and completeness for all projects.

About You!

This Job is For You if You Have:

  • Four to six years’ experience with Windows Servers, Azure Cloud, InTune, Azure Local, Druva backup environment and Cisco Networking (FMC, FTD, ISE, Umbrella and DNA Center).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
  • Advanced computer skills.

A Wow if You Have:

  • A college-level education in Management Information Systems, Information Systems Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in Cisco networking, wireless and wired.
