The Opportunity:
As the Case Manager, you are independently responsible for identifying, coordinating, and implementing supportive measures and prevention activities for students, employees, and others participating in university grievance processes involving discrimination and harassment, including sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking.
You collaborate closely with the Director, Assistant Director – Investigations, and Investigators to develop creative solutions that prevent future harm and promote participant safety. You counsel participants on their available resources and options at the university, contribute to policy and process development, and serve as a liaison between Compliance and Civil Rights and university staff, departments, law enforcement, and community partners. You monitor cases, provide proactive outreach, and coordinate ongoing support as participant needs evolve throughout each case.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4,508 - $5,508 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to area of specialization and three (3) years of experience directly related to the specialty area. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Demonstrated excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience carefully analyzing information, reviewing policies and procedures, handling confidential issues, and giving presentations.
Attention to details, organized, and multi-tasking to meet deadlines.
Experience working with faculty, students, staff, and parents and families of students.
Demonstrated ability to exercise professional judgement and leadership, including the ability to work independently.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include working extended time frames, including late hours and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Sharepoint, Maxient, and Microsoft Office software.
Experience working with Title IX, VAWA, ADA, Title 11, FERPA, and other regulations associated with the position.
Advanced degree in Higher Education, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, Student Affairs, Law, Human Resources, Management, or related field.
Experience working in higher education.
Working knowledge of WSU administrative environment.
Fluency in a second language.
