Pay Range:
The base pay range for this position is
$240,000.00-$290,000.00 Annualhowever, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Title: Sports MedicinePhysician
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Classification: Exempt
- Support Washington State University athletics through clinic, event coverage, consultation and care coordination.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based sports medicine care for patients of all ages.
- Provide same-day access for acute injuries and timely follow-up care.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation specialists, and athletic trainers to ensure integrated care.
- Participate in outreach and education initiatives with local schools, athletic programs, and community organizations.
- Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine with a CAQ in Sports Medicine, or fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine.
- Current Washington State medical license and Idaho State license (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical skills in musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment, including ultrasound-guided procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and community engagement.
- Experience working with athletes at the high school, collegiate, or professional level.
- Familiarity with performance optimization and injury prevention strategies.
- Interest in program development and leadership opportunities.
