Position Summary Â
The Human Resources Generalist serves as a trusted HR partner for the Pulsafeeder business, providing comprehensive support across talent acquisition, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, leave management, and HR operations. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to foster a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.Â

Essential Functions Â
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:Â
Â
Talent Acquisition & OnboardingÂ
Leads full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt positions, including intake meetings, job postings, sourcing, interviewing, offer development, and onboarding coordinationÂ
Administers the onboarding of new employees, including ensuring orientation presentations are updated, 90-day onboarding plans are created with Dept Leaders, etcÂ
Reports talent acquisition metrics to the HR Manager and recommends process improvementsÂ
Â
HR AdministrationÂ
Assists with annual Performance Management process and Salary Planning processes, as assignedÂ
Maintains employee data in the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and processing workflows and employee data changes accurately and timelyÂ
Serves as the process owner for employee separations, including responding to unemployment claims as requiredÂ
Â
Training & DevelopmentÂ
Supports HR training and development initiatives as neededÂ
Facilitates annual corporate trainings as neededÂ
Â
Payroll Â
Serves as the primary administrator for payroll processing within HR, working with Corporate Payroll as neededÂ
Resolves employee pay issuesÂ
Â
Employee RelationsÂ
Partners with the HR Manager during employee relations investigationsÂ
Supports HR Manager with Union relations activitiesÂ
Participates in initiatives tied to succession planning and talent acceleration as neededÂ
Â
Benefits AdministrationÂ
Serves as the process owner for leave of absence administration across the organizationÂ
Serves as a resource for employee benefits inquiries, partnering with the HR Manager and Corporate Benefits TeamÂ
Updates HRIS and timesheets (where applicable) accuratelyÂ
Â
SafetyÂ
Support site safety initiative and compliance activities Â
Partner with EHS on injury reporting, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work programsÂ
Â
ReportingÂ
Maintain, prepare, and audit reports including headcount, turnover, diversity and other key metrics, as requiredÂ
Partners with the HR Team to support the annual engagement survey, analyze results, and develop action plansÂ
Â
MiscellaneousÂ
Maintains a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive employee and organizational informationÂ
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in HR, talent management, and employment lawÂ
Maintain employee files in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.Â

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Â
EducationÂ
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferredÂ
PHR/SHRM-CP Certification preferredÂ
Â
ExperienceÂ
3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience required, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environmentÂ
2 years’ minimum experience with recruiting exempt and non-exempt roles requiredÂ
Experience with processing employee leave of absences requiredÂ

This position is fully onsite, with a requirement to work from the Punta Gorda office five (5) days per week.Â
This position operates in a manufacturing office setting and involves regular use of standard office equipment. The role requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks. The employee will occasionally move about the office or nearby production areas to access equipment, attend meetings, or communicate with team members. The individual must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and external parties in person, over the phone, and through digital platforms. Â

Total Rewards
The compensation range for this position is $54,200.00 - $81,400.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.Benefits Package
