Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.

Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
Records factors causing goods to be returned.
Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Manejar la recepcin diaria de mercadería recibida de camiones de vendedores al realizar las siguientes tareas.
Analizar los envíos en busca de defectos y faltas en comparacin con los documentos que detallan lo recibido.
Registrar los factores por los cuales se devuelven los bienes.
Descargar y mover los envíos entrantes al almacenamiento.
Reenviar los documentos aprobados de los productos recibidos al departamento correspondiente para su procesamiento. Requisitos: título secundario o título de educacin general (GED, por sus siglas en inglés) o de uno a tres meses de experiencia o capacitacin relevante, o una combinacin equivalente de educacin y experiencia.
