Purcell Municipal Hospital is in need of a FT Dietary Manager.  Flexible hours, minimum of 32 hours / week. 

The Dietary Manager supervises and assists with the daily operations of the department food quality, patient meal service functions, and sanitation. The Dietary Manager coordinates scheduling, payroll, orientation and training of all food service employees within the division of hospitality services. The Dietary Manager supervises initiatives to improve processes, maximizes efficiency, serves internal and external customers, and maintains high employee morale. The Dietary Manager participates in budget planning and cost controls. The Dietary Manager provides leadership and coordinates resources to achieve quality customer satisfaction.

 

Experience/Skills:

1 - 3 years supervisory experience in a related health care field or Nursing Home Experience preferred

Computer skills - knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel or similar programs

Strong professional communication, and interpersonal skills

Take initiative for problem solving, decision making and managing employees

Leadership skills and ability to foster an environment of teamwork, professionalism, customer satisfaction, high performance, and mutual respect of others.

Develop and evaluate policies and procedures.

 

 

Education: Minimum Associates Degree in food service or related field required

Registered Dietetic Technician or Certified Dietary Manager preferred
