Job Details

• Home daily
• Local dedicated account
• Deliver palletized grocery products to customer location
• Haul freight in dry van, refrigerated, and pup trailers
• Meet linehaul requirements throughout the service area
• Consistent freight volume
• Dedicated customer operation

Freight Details

• Combination of driver-assist and customer-unloaded freight
• Approximately 90% of stops require driver assist
• Approximately 10% of stops are live unloads performed by the customer
• Driver-assist deliveries require use of an electric pallet jack
• Freight is moved to the rear of the trailer for customer unloading
• Customers may unload freight using forklifts when applicable

Equipment

• Automatic International day cab tractors
• Dry van, reefer, and pup trailers
• Approximately 40% of loads involve doubles
• Slip seating required
• Trucks remain at the account during time off

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
• Ability to perform driver-assist deliveries
• Doubles endorsement required within 60-90 days of hire
• Ability and willingness to install tire chains when weather conditions require
• Strong safety record
• Professional and dependable work ethic

• Doubles endorsement costs reimbursed by the account
• Drivers may be required to assist other dedicated or intermodal accounts as needed
