Shifts & Hours
We have openings for both day and night shifts. Employees must have the flexibility to work overtime, including weekend hours, when production needs dictate (e.g., staying past scheduled shift times to safely complete critical processes such as finishing a heat).

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Includes a +$2.00/hr shift differential) * Note on Night Shift: We are not currently running this shift. Newly hired night shift employees will train on the day shift for several weeks to ensure proper onboarding and adequate staffing before the night shift officially launches.
Job Summary
iWorkforce Solutions is seeking dedicated, safety-oriented candidates for Production Laborer positions in Transfer, PA. This is a dynamic, entry-level manufacturing and industrial role designed to build foundational skills and offer opportunities for cross-training and career advancement across multiple operational areas (including melt, furnace support, heat make-up, ladle operations, belt/pan operations, packaging, shipping, and general plant support).

Key Responsibilities

Support operations throughout the facility across multiple cross-trained departments.

Perform tasks requiring physical endurance, including frequently standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, climbing, and performing repetitive hand movements.

Regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds.

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient workspace while strictly adhering to plant safety rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Properly utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection

Essential Functions
- Adhere to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, and identify and report safety problems (correcting them when possible).
- Transport material from production through final packaging, via forklift or other manual and mobile equipment.
- Load and unload material for shot blast operations or other value-added services.
- Package materials into drums, Gaylords, boxes, or super sacks per customer specifications, including adherence to weight specifications.
- Identify product through labeling and stencils.
- Perform visual quality inspection of product.
- Unload trucks with incoming materials.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Perform miscellaneous functions as needed in various departments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
Competencies
- Experience operating forklifts preferred.
- Must have attention to detail, including basic math skills, with the ability to add and subtract accurately.
- Proficient in the basic use of a computer to facilitate the entry and completion of work orders.
- Able to use basic hand tools.
- Must be able to multitask with shifting priorities and multiple interruptions.
- Must be willing to work shifts and overtime as needed, including 12-hour shifts.

- Must physically be able to frequently lift and/or carry up to 35 lbs.
- Frequently required to operate a forklift and hand tools.

- Works primarily in a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to dust, flames, water, and extreme heat and cold.
- Occasional exposure to vibrations and noise.
