These positions are located across various healthcare settings (hospitals, nursing homes, clinics) in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities vary by position and facility and may include:

Providing administrative and clerical support
Scheduling appointments and maintaining records
Registering, admitting, and assisting patients and visitors
Performing data entry and documentation
Verifying insurance and processing billing information
Delivering customer service and support in healthcare settings
Assisting with food service, environmental services, housekeeping, and other operational functions
Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with facility policies and procedures

Requirements

Education: A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required for all opportunities. Additional education requirements may apply depending on the position.
Experience: Experience requirements vary by position, with all opportunities requiring a minimum of at least six (6) months of related work experience.
Relevant Experience: Candidates must have recent experience in the field for which they are seeking consideration.
U.S. Work History: Candidates must have recent U.S. work experience and sufficient verifiable U.S. employment and/or educational history to successfully complete the required reference verification process.
Employment History: Candidates must demonstrate a stable and consistent work history.

Work Authorization: Proof of employment eligibility is required.
Additional Requirements: Some positions may require healthcare experience, typing proficiency, bilingual skills, certifications, licenses, and/or a valid driver's license.
1199SEIU Eligibility: Candidates who have previously interviewed with 1199SEIU or attended a 1199SEIU orientation are not eligible for consideration.

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
