PART TIME THERAPIST { FLEXIBLE HOURS BUT SATURDAY IS A MUST}
Position Summary
The therapist will provide individual and group therapy to adults residing in an acute secure LTSR setting. Therapists perform initial assessment, complete treatment plans, meet individually with a caseload of 3-4 residents, run two weekly groups and coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources based on client needs.

Essential Duties and Functions
Therapy
- Conduct intake assessments.
- Monthly updates to paperwork/crisis plans/treatment plans/PHQ9.
- Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health issues.
Caseload management
- Maintain active caseload (3-4 residents) including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
- Maintain tracking system for treatment plans, and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
- Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.
Administrative
- Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human service field. Licensed or license eligible (within 6 months).
- Two years' experience providing direct therapy in the area of mental health, substance use or IDD.
- Familiar with standard business computer software programs and electronic Health Care Database programs.
- ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program
- FBI clearance, as needed
