Job Description

Ā 

Fabricator – This position fixes and makes parts for broken looms and maintains the working order of the loom, this position is located in the Production Plant.


Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Tasks and Work Activities

Ā 

  • Perform required preventive maintenance on looms
  • Reading and understanding assembly instructions
  • Welding or manufacturing assorted products using raw materials
  • Test and ensure all parts are properly fitted, aligned and in working order
  • Troubleshooting and testing products
  • Ensure quality requirements are being met, both for specific job as well as AS9100 quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment
  • Support and provide input to the AS9100 quality system through document development and revisions and support audits both internal and external
  • Perform visual inspections of work area and finished set up.
  • Communicating with Supervisors – Providing necessary information to supervisors regarding any issues regarding the set up or looms.
  • Electrical experience a plus
  • Other duties as assigned

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Indoors – This position is located in the Production Plant.
  • The typical work day is standing for long periods of time
  • Employee must be able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Duration of a Typical Work Week – This position is a four (4) day work week consisting of ten (10) hours per day.
