Job DetailsJob Location: Q Office - Quantico, VA 22134Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Bachelor's Degree*This position is contingent upon contract award* Job purpose The Communications Specialist plans and delivers strategic communications across written, digital, social-media, web, briefing, and multimedia channels while maintaining consistent organizational messaging and measuring campaign effectiveness. Duties and responsibilities Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with organizational goals and priorities. Create content for various communication channels, including newsletters, press releases, social media, and websites, ensuring consistency in messaging. Manage and update the organization's social media presence, engaging with audiences and monitoring for brand-related discussions. Analyze communication campaign effectiveness through metrics and analytics, reporting results to senior leadership to inform future strategies. Develop talking points, speeches, and briefing materials for leadership to support public appearances and stakeholder meetings. Produce multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and infographics, to enhance engagement and convey key messages visually. Organize and support internal communication initiatives to keep staff informed about policies, events, and organizational changes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned messaging and cohesive branding across all organizational communication efforts. Maintain a calendar of communication activities, ensuring timely and strategic delivery of content and announcements. Develop and manage strategic partnerships with external organizations to extend reach and enhance brand visibility. QualificationsQualifications Demonstrated ability to develop strategic communication plans and create clear content for executive, digital, social-media, web, and multimedia channels. Education Bachelor's degree in related field. Years of Relative Work Experience: Three (3) years' experience providing strategic communications, public affairs, marketing, or corporate communications support. Clearance: Minimum Tier 1 background investigation and Government-access eligibility are required; an active Secret clearance is required before supporting classified events or tasks.
