About the Position

Please note this role is for a proposal and is subject to a contract award.

LIVE is seeking a qualified professional to support the Air Force Criminal Justice Information Center (AFCJIC) under the Department of the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI). AFCJIC serves as DAF’s central entity for requesting, receiving, auditing, correcting, integrating, and reporting criminal history records. This is a non-personal services position performed on-site at the Russell-Knox Building, Quantico, VA. Core duty hours are 0800–1600, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The Expungement Processor is a designated Key Personnel role administering the DAF indexing records expungement, challenge, and correction program.

Responsibilities

• Administer the DAF indexing records expungement, challenge, and correction program.

• Coordinate with the AFCJIC Audit Program Manager regarding field-level compliance.

• Prepare and coordinate official responses to inquiries regarding the expungement program.

• Process all expungement requests within established timelines and formally notify requestors of outcomes.

• Oversee the submission of corrective notices to all appropriate agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in records processing and management.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet established processing timelines.

• Excellent written communication skills for official correspondence.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

Security & Clearance Requirements

• Clearance: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility required.

• Must successfully pass a law enforcement records check.

• Must possess sufficient knowledge and experience in law enforcement, legal, or compliance fields to ensure accurate interpretation of criteria and proper handling of information.

• Must handle Privacy Act Information (PAI), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and Law Enforcement Sensitive (LES) information in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations (DoDI 5200.48, Privacy Act of 1974).

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with criminal justice records correction or expungement programs.

• Familiarity with FBI CJIS systems and DAF indexing processes.
