QBE, LLC is a mission-focused defense support organization providing technical and cybersecurity services.

QBE is seeking a Information Security Manager to support the MCCOG/MCEN mission per SOW requirements, delivering technical, operational, and engineering functions aligned with enterprise network defense and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops and evaluates an organization's security system and networks.
• Conducts account responsibilities which include; system testing, password management, network/web application scanning, and threat detection (vulnerability, viruses, and intrusion). 
• Utilizes security tools to enhance system authentication, breach protocols, and firewall/encryption audits. 
• Translates and designs security requirements. 
• Prepares status reports to develop security risk analysis scenarios.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance
• 2-5 years of DoD experience in cybersecurity or information assurance.
• Ability to work onsite
• Experience with ACAS/Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), and eMASS.
• Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs periodically.
• Ability to commute to the required work location daily.

Preferred certifications

• IAM I (e.g., CAP, GSLC)
• IAT II (Security+ CE)
