About the Opportunity

Alliance Global Group is searching for an experienced Inventory Control and Procurement Specialist to support inventory control, accountable property management, procurement support, shipping and receiving, and equipment disposal activities in Quantico, Virginia. This position is contingent upon award. The Inventory Control and Procurement Specialist will maintain accurate property records, support equipment accountability using DPAS, ServiceNow, or another designated system, coordinate equipment movement and documentation, and ensure inventory and supply functions are performed in accordance with applicable policy and customer requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all accountable equipment and property using Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), ServiceNow, or another designated system.
  • Receive, label, package, ship, and track purchased equipment, and complete DD1149s and DD1150s as required by policy.
  • Perform inventory, screening, collection, and disposal of equipment identified as outdated, broken, or no longer required using the Navy’s DRMO/DLA equipment disposal process.
  • Conduct on-site, physical, annual inventory of all accountable property when required.
  • Submit a Monthly Discrepancy Report listing inventory discrepancies and required follow-up actions.
  • Collect and distribute incoming mail, package, label, and ship all outgoing mail.
  • Order and receive office supplies required from the Supply Issue Point (SIP).


Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or five years of equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) or another inventory tracking system.
  • Experience receiving and shipping hardware.
  • Experience disposing of equipment according to DRMO/DLA guidelines.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance level required at contract start.
