Job DetailsJob Location: Quapaw, OK 74363Position Type: Full-TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Admin - Clerical  Job Identification:   Position Title: QNGA  Receptionist Status: Non-Exempt Location: Quapaw Nation Gaming Facilities  Department: Quapaw Nation Gaming Agency Reports to: QNGA Management  Work Schedule: Full Time  Safety Sensitive: Yes* DRIVERS LICENSE REQUIRED: YES  Position Summary:  To provide clerical and administrative support to the Quapaw Nation Gaming Agency in the performance of its mission with honesty, integrity, and strictest confidentiality and to assist the QNGA staff in carrying out the day-to-day activities of the agency. The QNGA Receptionist is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance services to the staff of the QNGA; serving as the initial point of contact with the QNGA; and efficiently routing all contacts, inquiries, communications, correspondence, and persons to the appropriate point of contact within the QNGA.   Essential Job Functions:  Provide support to the management and staff of the QNGA by sending notices, orders, correspondence, and other documents prepared by the management and/or staff in the performance of their duties and functions.  Perform dictation and transcription services as needed.  Answer phone and receives all visitors to the office.  Route visitors to appropriate office personnel.  Establish and maintain files/records and logs for management, including scanning of files and documents.  Make travel arrangements for QNGA management, and other QNGA staff, as needed. Establish and maintain physical inventory for the QNGA. Assist QNGA office staff in copying, filing, messenger, and other related tasks.  Retrieve documents in filing cabinets and vault.  Assist QNGA office staff in protecting the privacy of employees, licensees, and vendors.  Performs basic housekeeping for communal workspaces. Perform other duties as assigned.    Non-essential Job Functions:  May attend professional meetings and pertinent workshops as assigned. QualificationsJob Specifications:       Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet the minimum insurance requirements of the Quapaw Nation’s Motor Vehicle Policy. Must be able to work flexible days and hours and have reliable transportation. Must be highly organized and capable of maintaining orderly and easily accessible files. Must have excellent typing skills to meet the demands of assigned duties and able to use a PC and software such as Windows, Microsoft Office. Must possess data entry and retrieval skills. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.   Experience / Education: Must have a high school diploma /GED and a minimum of one-year of clerical/administrative experience. Educational and professional experience requirements may be waived based on any combination of education, professional training, or business experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of this position.   Physical Abilities: Must be physically able to perform all essential job functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; file and retrieve documents; operate a computer; communicate; listen; and assess information.   Working Conditions: The gaming agency staff shall refrain, at all times, from participating in any gaming activities at the casino or any other gaming establishment under the Gaming Agency authority and shall not handle any matter in which an applicant or subject is a member of his or her immediate family or is an entity in which he or she has a pecuniary interest.   Disclaimers: This job description encompasses and describes most but not all tasks and responsibilities of the job.
