IMCO General Construction is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team on a heavy construction project in Oxbow, Oregon.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform carpentry work safely and efficiently on heavy civil construction projects.
• Construct, install, and dismantle concrete forms and building framework according to project plans and specifications.
• Perform concrete formwork and finish work.
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, measurements, grades, and elevations.
• Perform work associated with heavy construction, excavation, demolition, and other project activities as assigned.
• Safely operate hand and power tools, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, measuring equipment, and other construction tools and equipment.
• Assist other craft workers and field crews as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all IMCO and project-specific safety requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of concrete formwork and/or concrete finishing experience.
• Ability to read and understand construction plans and drawings.
• Basic construction math skills, including the ability to work with measurements, cuts, fills, grades, and elevations.
• Ability to safely operate applicable hand and power tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying and adverse weather conditions.
• Commitment to teamwork, safe work practices, quality, and integrity.
• Must successfully complete required pre-employment drug screening.
• Must successfully complete required criminal background check.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position performed primarily on an active construction site. Employees must be able to:

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the work shift.
• Safely lift and carry construction materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Work outdoors in heat, sun, cold, rain, dust, dirt, and other construction-site conditions.
• Use the manual dexterity necessary to safely operate hand and power tools and perform carpentry work.
• Work around construction materials and chemicals commonly encountered on heavy civil construction projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Pay: $36-50.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance available the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.
• 401(k) available to eligible employees the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
• IMCO provides a 100% company match on employee contributions up to 4% of eligible wages.
• RV site with hookups may be provided at IMCO's expense for employees bringing their own RV or trailer.

Location & Work Schedule

• Project Location: Oxbow, Oregon.
• 8–10-hour shifts.
• Overtime may be available based on project needs.
• Evening and weekend work may be necessary to meet project schedules and milestones.
