Glens Falls Country Club is seeking a dependable, energetic, and team-oriented Food Runner to join our hospitality team. Job Summary:

The Glens Falls Country Club Food Runner will deliver food to members/guests at their table. The Food Runner will also assist in the below responsibilities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Taking food from the kitchen to customers' tables.
Communicating with wait staff.
Carrying food to the right table.
Helping with cleanup.
Stocking supplies.
Keeping dining areas clean.
Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards
Remove dirty dishes and utensils
Providing great customer service

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of cleanliness and hygiene standards for front-of-house maintenance
Familiarity with the food and beverage menu
Attention to detail in clearing and resetting tables
Ability to multitask and assist wait staff during busy periods
Efficient in handling cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy dining environment

Education and Experience:

Must be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).
Previous experience as a hostess preferred.
Must successfully complete restaurant training course.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
