Proposed Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

 

The Human Resources Coordinator is a key role within the department, providing support and customer service to the entire organization. This position is solely responsible for all the personnel files and the administrative support of the Human Resources Department. They will also provide direct support and assistance to the Director of Compensation and Benefits as needed.


• Administering new hire, data into HRIS system and/or other software systems being utilized, ensuring accuracy; notifies respective internal staff so they can update their records timely
• Manage entire onboarding process and bi-weekly new hire orientation for staff and providers
• Responsible for tracking all monthly and yearly expirables and ensuring completion by expiration date; working efficiently with managers to accomplish i.e., BLS, PPD, Licenses
• Administers and follows process for all new hires; this includes precuring all new hire paperwork and required credentialing documents, background checks, preemployment physical and required vaccine proof
• Onboard contracted employees as needed
• Process background checks for board members following applicable Network policies
• Process payroll change forms for terminations, status changes, etc.
• Responsible for preparing & maintaining all files i.e., personnel, health, contractor, credentialing
• Responsible for running the new hire onboarding, including conducting new hire orientation every other week; coordinate logistics and hotel accommodations for those traveling
• Maintain and monitor departmental supplies; place orders as needed
• Maintain and update the employee counseling, discipline, and performance improvement plan log; report out during performance review cycle
• Create reports as requested; audit to make sure the details are complete i.e., monthly active and term reports to compliance and IS
• Provides daily customer service to all employees and monitor the HR email inbox; answers questions or directs to other team members as appropriate; requires problem-solving and empathy
• Handle daily HR administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings.
• Responsible for administering staff performance review program and obtaining competencies; work with managers and provider credentialing to ensure these are completed and processed in a timely manner
• Assist the benefit team with creating invoices for employees on unpaid leaves
• Maintain employee personnel files; ensure they are always in order; keep filing current
• Coordinate VTO program and Health Center Volunteer Onboarding; work with community centers to create events, process necessary paperwork, distribute supplies, obtain forms
• Enthusiastically serves on various organization committees that support the Mission, Vision, and Core Values
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus
• Notary Public designation is a plus
• 5 years’ administrative experience; healthcare and human resources experience preferred
• General understanding of all aspects of Human Resource operations and compliance issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding customer service skills including kindness, empathy, and appreciation
• Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail
• MS Office Suite; ADP or HRIS experience
• Ability to multi-task, work independently as well as a team; having resourcefulness to solve problems
• Always exhibits a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

 

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $27.41 per hour and will be determined based on skills and experience.
