What You Will Be Doing

Comply with all Six Flags policies and procedures
Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware, and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine, then sort and stack clean dishes
Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand
Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions

How You Will Do It

Loads, runs, and unloads dish machine
Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediately
Monitors dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware
Keeps dish area clean and organized
Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
Bags and hauls dish area trash to dumpster at designed times
Handles tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
Maintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies
Cleans food preparation and production areas as required
Is available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor

Must be 18 or over
Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
For safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environment for long periods of time.
Must be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
Must be able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 points up to 30 times per shift
Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelines
