Entry Level Manager in Training - Warehouse Division

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Able to work a flexible schedule of 40-44 hours/week (additional time required during floral holidays, 50-70 hours/week).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.  Additional education or related business experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.  Ability to use personal transportation is preferred.
• Good mathematical skills.  
• General knowledge of computer software use. Exceptional EXCEL skills.
• Able to acquire the skills to manage, lead and supervise people.
• Able to commute to any Royer’s/Stephenson’s location.
• Able to handle confidential material and detailed reports. 
• Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs. 
• Able to demonstrate creativity, leadership and "team player" demeanor.
• Must be a quick learner. 

 RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Learn all aspects of the Warehouse operation.
• Learn to manage the Wholesale Operation.
• Oversee daily operations of department in the absence of the Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Attend periodic manager meetings.
• Order materials as needed.
• Assist in the preparation of flowers, gift ware, plants, containers, etc. 
• Work as a straight truck driver, as needed.
• Maintain stock of standard containers, gift ware and supplies.
• Handle complaints when the manager is not available.
• Other duties as assigned.
