LAWAZEM is seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Expeditor to join our procurement team. The Procurement Expeditor will be responsible for monitoring and expediting purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of supplies and supporting the overall efficiency of the procurement process.

Responsibilities:
  • Track and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery from suppliers.
  • Communicate regularly with suppliers and internal departments to provide updates on order status.
  • Identify and resolve any delays or issues affecting the delivery of materials or services.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to expedite urgent orders when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to procurement and delivery schedules.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to improve process efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
  • Support supplier relationship management and address any supplier performance issues.
  • Previous experience in procurement, expediting, or supply chain coordination preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
