Job DetailsJob Location: Hale Y and ELC - Quincy, MA 02169Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY: Custodial staff will work directly for the Facilities Director and/or Program Director. The staff will address cleaning and building preparation tasks on a scheduled basis to be completed in a timely manner. The Custodian staff will be aware of safety issues and concerns for themselves and all members in carrying out their assigned duties. They will communicate to the Facility Director regarding any facility issues as they occur or when appropriate. Custodial staff must also be available for snow removal before, during, and after hours of operation.   CORE  EXPECTATIONS: Clean and disinfect all areas of the building -  locker rooms,  bathrooms, common areas as assigned Launder towels Ability to work individually on tasks and as part of a team Other custodial duties as assigned   QUALIFICATIONS:  Basic knowledge of cleaning processes preferred.  The ability to develop positive, effective working relationships with staff, volunteers and members is important to this position. Effective delivery of appropriate customer service and a high level of enthusiasm are required.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS  While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to: climb stairs, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, reach with hands, sit, stand for extended period of time, walk, lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, hQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:  Basic knowledge of cleaning processes preferred.  The ability to develop positive, effective working relationships with staff, volunteers and members is important to this position.
