Full and Part Time Day Shift Dietary Aide

Sunset Senior Living in Quincy, IL has Part-Time Dietary Aide Openings:

Hours: Part-Time 16-24 hours per week

Shift Time: 3:30p-7:30p

The Dietary Aide will assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring that residents receive nutritious, well-balanced meals in a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in meal preparation and ensure meals are served in a timely manner.
• Deliver food trays and assist residents with meals as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties.
• Take residents' dietary needs and preferences into consideration.
• Report any issues or concerns regarding residents' dietary needs to the Dietary Manager.
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation.
• Other duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.

Requirements

• Must have Food Handlers Certification or willing to obtain through us.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Must be able to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
