This is a newly created position resulting from organizational expansion, offering an exciting opportunity to support the growth of Recovery Services in Morgan County.

In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our multidisciplinary team—providing therapeutic support, delivering co-occurring services, assisting families, and participating in crisis response. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality substance use and mental health services using a person-centered, strengths-based approach.

  • Implement the ACT model and contribute to coordinated, team-based service delivery.

  • Provide counseling using evidence-based modalities focused on skill development, harm reduction, and recovery support.

  • Participate in treatment planning, staff meetings, and clinical reviews.

  • Assist individuals with setting and achieving personalized recovery goals.

  • Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the individual and their support network.

  • Document interventions and progress thoroughly using collaborative documentation practices.

  • Support crisis intervention efforts, including assessment and coordination of resources.

  • Provide education to individuals and families on mental health symptoms, substance use, and medication adherence.

  • Assist individuals with accessing needed services such as housing, employment, and community resources.

  • Facilitate skill-building related to independent living, employment readiness, education, and self-care.

  • Collaborate with community partners to ensure seamless care coordination.

  • Provide telehealth services when needed.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.

  • Must hold licensure in Illinois as LPC, LSW, LCPC, or LCSW

  • Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) certification per Illinois Credentialing Board standards, including one of the following:

    • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC)

    • Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC)

    • Clinical Supervisor (CCJP, CCDP, CCDP-D, CRAADC)

    • Registered Alcohol and Drug Counselor (RADC, RADC-P)

    • Co-Occurring credential (preferred)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to evaluate services and contribute to program improvements.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong documentation abilities and clinical decision‑making skills.
