An Inventory Counter is responsible for accurately counting, recording, and verifying inventory levels within a warehouse, retail, or distribution environment. This role plays a critical part in maintaining stock accuracy and supporting overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical inventory counts of products and materials.
- Verify quantities and report discrepancies.
- Use scanners, tablets, and computer systems to input and track inventory data.
- Follow time-sensitive deadlines to complete assigned counting tasks.
- Assist in identifying and resolving inventory issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and accurate reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to walk up to 5 miles per day and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective time management skills, especially for deadline-driven tasks.
- Basic knowledge of handheld scanners, tablets, and computers.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions.
