This is a multi-modality position covering both CT and X-ray
Full-time, 7:00a-7:00p, Weekend Only Position
25% Weekend Differential
Job Description:
Performs computed tomography (CT) and general radiographic imaging with limited supervision, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images and accurate patient documentation. Obtains relevant patient histories and prepares required information to support completion of the medical record. Coordinates equipment service and preventive maintenance as needed and maintains appropriate inventory of imaging supplies.
Requirements:
Associates degree or higher from an institution accredited by an agency that the Americal Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or miliary training graduate of JCERT-accredited program required.
Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Required.
ARRT or NMTCB with CT certification required.
Computed Tomography (CT) registry required. Registry eligible candidates are required to obtain CT certification within one year of employment. When in-house training occurs, employee has 16 weeks of training before the one-year period begins.
BLS required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of experience as a Rad Tech in diagnostic radiology preferred.
Prior experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital or medical imaging facility preferred.
