As a Volunteer Van Driver, at New River Valley Community Services, you will play a vital role in supporting the transportation needs of our community members, including seniors and individuals with disabilities accessing our services.You would be responsible for transporting authorized persons in a safe, courteous, and efficient manner according to NRVCS' agency-wide and departmental policies and procedures. 

Education/Experience Required:

• Thorough knowledge of vehicle operation
• Knowledge of state and local traffic regulations
• Ability to effectively and accurately communicate both orally and in writing required.
• Excellent customer relations skills required
• Possession of a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma, and/or considerable experience in vehicle operations.

Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages
