Centurion of Florida is proud to be the provider of comprehensive mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections. We are seeking a seasoned full-time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at Union Correctional Institution located in Raiford, Florida. Become the newest member of our team providing outpatient psychiatric and close management services to a male patient population. Much of the population within this institution is 50+ years old, serving long term sentences. This institution has a cohesive multidisciplinary team, is well staffed and offers excellent collaboration with the Centurion medical team as well as our FLDOC administrative team and correctional officers. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides mental health/psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients under the clinical direction of a psychiatrist and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients in a correctional setting. QualificationsJob Qualifications: ANCC or ANA certification as an APRN-PMH or NCCPA Physician Assistants with CAQ in Psychiatry of qualifications Active unrestricted Florida APRN-PMH or PA - CAQ license Active unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate Minimum of 1 year of full-time PMHNP prescribing required Prior correctional mental health is highly desired Prior locked unit experience is highly desired Able and willing to pass a comprehensive background investigation Work legally in the United States without sponsorship Available Shift Monday-Friday Day Shift No nights, holidays, weekends or on-call We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Company paid malpractice insurance Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
