Kitchen Manager / Lead Line Cook
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Full-Time – 40 Hours Per Week

We are looking for an experienced, hardworking Kitchen Manager / Lead Line Cook to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows the kitchen inside and out, takes pride in their work, and can lead a team while maintaining a high standard of food quality, cleanliness, and organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the kitchen crew during daily operations and service
- Take charge of the line and ensure food is prepared and served consistently and efficiently
- Be knowledgeable and capable of working all kitchen positions, including grill, sauté, flat top, fryer, prep, and cold side
- Help create and execute weekly specials and new menu ideas
- Assist with menu development and contribute creative ideas
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked kitchen
- Ensure proper food preparation, storage, sanitation, and food-safety procedures are followed
- Help train, guide, and motivate kitchen staff
- Keep the kitchen running efficiently during busy services
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation
- Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance issues
- Lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Work closely with management to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of professional kitchen experience
- Strong experience working multiple kitchen stations
- Must be comfortable leading a kitchen line and directing kitchen staff
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment
- Must take pride in cleanliness, food quality, and consistency
- ServSafe Certification is a plus
- Previous leadership, lead cook, sous chef, or kitchen management experience is preferred
