Based in Raleigh, NC, this hybrid position offers the flexibility to work onsite a minimum of two days per week, with relocation assistance available. How you'll make an impact
 

  • Lead engineering activities across the full project lifecycle
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external partners
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders
  • Drive innovation and cost-effective solutions in proposals
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contract standards
  • Support commissioning and construction phases
  • Evaluate risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Develop detailed design documents and technical drawings
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.


Your background
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI/IEEE, and high-voltage substation design
  • Familiarity with Power System technologies (GIS, PASS, etc.)
  • Experience in EPC project environments
  • Proficiency in BIM/Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit
  • Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
