Precast Terrazzo Enterprises is a 100% employee-owned company specializing in premier custom precast terrazzo. Because we craft each design individually, the Shop Employee role is critical to our success. We are looking for full-time shop employees who like being part of a team, take pride in their work quality, and enjoy the challenge of learning something new.
We are looking to add a Full-Time, permanent shop employee for a Monday through Friday day shift 6 am to 3:30 pm. Overtime is available for those who are interested. This role is an opportunity to learn a specialized trade within the Terrazzo and flooring industry.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Being able to follow instructions for the various designs
- Building and creating molds
- Mixing the custom blends and pouring into the molds
- Sanding, cutting, and polishing the precast products
- Confirming quality control and design specifications
- Shipping and receiving materials and raw materials
- Filling customer orders
What You Need to Get the Job Done:
- Team-oriented player attitude
- History of reliability
- Committed to high safety standards
- Ability to measure and understand basic calculations
- Ability to lift heavy items
- Ability to tell the difference between various colors
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus but is not required
