Dental Hygienist

Location:

Part-time Hygienist needed at North Ridge Family & Cosmetic Dentistry on Mondays, 9:00am - 5:00pm , and Tuesdays, 7:00am - 3:00pm.

The Dental Hygienist plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care by providing preventive dental services, educating patients on oral health, and supporting the overall treatment plan established by the dentist. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform oral health assessments, including charting conditions of decay, disease, and other dental issues.

• Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.

• Take, develop, and evaluate dental radiographs (X-rays).

• Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants.

• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and disease prevention.

• Record and maintain accurate patient treatment information and medical histories.

• Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments as needed.

• Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained according to infection control protocols.

• Stay current on dental hygiene best practices and continuing education requirements.
