Position Summary:

This Administrative Assistant works with a team responsible for providing administrative and compliance support to our Creditors' Rights Recovery Department. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Locate, review, and verify consumer information through internal and external sources.
  • Evaluate information from vendor leads and other approved sources to locate executable asset information.
  • Enter consumer data into debt collection software to update case files.
  • Review and distribute department mail, email, and voicemails appropriately. 
  • Review judgment enforcement and electronically file documents using courthouse applications.
  • Assist with the receipt of execution paperwork and prepare packages of documents.
  • Audit files for appropriate call and letter codes.
  • Update SOPs related to post-judgment processes.
  • Additional projects as needed for the functionality of the Collections Department and as directed by leadership.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an administrative support role.
  • Basic understanding of the collections process.
  • Basic understanding of the litigation process, preferred, especially judgment enforcement. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment and process a large volume of work efficiently and accurately. 
  • Professional oral and written communication skills.
