At Enact, we understand that there’s no place like home. That’s why we bring our deep expertise, insightful offerings, and extra mile service to work every day to help lenders put more people in homes and keep them there.

We’re looking for an Assistant General Counsel in Raleigh, NC to join us in fulfilling our mission, while demonstrating our shared values of excellence, improvement, and connection. This role is a strong opportunity for an attorney who wants to build a broad in-house legal foundation, gain hands-on experience with regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters, and provide legal advice to support business decisions in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with legal colleagues who will offer practical guidance, feedback, and opportunities for you to take increasing ownership. You will learn how an in-house legal team supports a publicly-traded company and contribute to work that has a direct connection to Enact’s mission of helping more people achieve and sustain homeownership.

As part of our legal team, you will do varied, meaningful work from the start: negotiating agreements, researching legal and regulatory issues, supporting audits, and advising on business projects. No two days will look exactly the same. You will be encouraged to ask questions and take on increasing responsibility as your skills grow. We welcome applicants who are curious, business-minded, and eager to become trusted legal advisors at Enact.
