Job Description

Maintenance Electrician| Raleigh, NC| HIRING IMMEDIATELY *$5,000 Sign On Bonus*

Starting Pay Range: $38.40 to $45.18 based on experience and qualifications*

Bonuses: $ 5,000 Sign-on Bonus*

Available Shift:

12-hour shifts with rotating schedule

Day Shift: 7A-7P Night Shift: 7P-7A - Rotation between the two schedules is required

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on all production equipment and building.
Install and repair electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment,
Work with AC & DC drives, instrumentation, transducers, and hydraulic/pneumatic controls.
Understand and follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Conducts preventive maintenance programs and keeps accurate maintenance records.
May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required.
Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
Limited travel may be required.

Qaulifications:

Must pass an electrical aptitude test.
Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills
PLC troubleshooting experience and work with tension controllers are a plus.
Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.
