The G/FORE Jr. Retoucher is responsible for high-quality retouching of on-figure and product imagery across all brand channels, including e-commerce, digital, and marketing. This role supports the Photo Studio team by delivering consistent, on-brand imagery while following established post-production standards and workflows. This role is for a detail-oriented individuals with strong technical skills, an eye for consistency, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Retouching on-figure and product imagery to meet G/FORE’s branding and deadlines across all channels (e-commerce, marketing, social, and print).
  • Support daily post-production needs by completing assigned retouching tasks accurately and on time.
  • Follow retouching guidelines, ensuring correct file naming, resolution, cropping, color profiles, and delivery standards.
  • Prepare and export final assets for multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with Retoucher(s) and the Photo Studio Manager to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.
  • Ability to receive creative direction from creative production team and cross-functional partners and implement revisions.
  • Maintain organized files and adhere to asset management standards.
  • Support with light video editing and QC for digital and social deliverables as needed.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong foundational skills in retouching, color correction, and image consistency.
  • Strong understanding of RGB and CMYK color profiles.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to receive feedback constructively.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work independently with guidance.
  • Commitment to understanding of the G/FORE’s brand and customer to deliver consistent high standard assets.
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to learn and grow within a studio environment.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in photography, digital imaging, or related field
  • 2-3 years prior experience as a Retoucher in a commercial, e-commerce, or high-volume production environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Expertise in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient in Global Edit / Capture One, or any other similar applications
  • Comfortable working in Google Docs, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Basic experience with Premier Pro or similar video editing software is a plus
  • Familiar with project management tools such as Monday, Asana, or similar
