This position will provide hands-on engineering support throughout the product lifecycle and work closely with manufacturing, quality, customers, and other engineering resources. The ideal candidate has strong electrical engineering experience supporting products in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable taking ownership of technical issues from initial investigation through resolution. The position will also support new product development, product improvements, and expansion of the Raleigh product portfolio. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on electrical engineering support for existing and new products. Support electrical design, development, testing, troubleshooting, validation, and product improvements. Develop and maintain electrical schematics, drawings, specifications, test procedures, BOMs, and other technical documentation. Work closely with manufacturing, quality, technicians, operators, and other engineering resources to resolve product and production-related technical issues. Support products throughout their lifecycle, including design changes, continuous improvement, quality issues, and customer requirements. Work directly with customers as needed to understand technical requirements and resolve product-related issues. Support the development and introduction of new products and enhancements to existing product lines. Investigate product failures and technical issues and drive solutions through root-cause analysis and corrective action. Provide technical leadership and guidance while remaining hands-on with products, testing, and troubleshooting. Coordinate engineering activities and projects across functions as needed. Ensure products and engineering activities comply with applicable technical, quality, safety, regulatory, and export-control requirements.     QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field; Master’s degree is a plus. Progressive electrical engineering experience supporting products in a manufacturing environment; senior-level experience is preferred. Strong hands-on experience with electrical/electronic hardware, testing, troubleshooting, and product support. Experience with electrical schematics, engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation. Experience supporting products from development through production and ongoing lifecycle support. Ability to work effectively with manufacturing, quality, customers, technicians, and cross-functional engineering teams. Strong problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills. Experience with HMI, switches, controls, embedded systems, or related electromechanical products is a plus. Customer-facing engineering experience is preferred. Project management or project coordination experience is helpful but not required. Export Control / ITAR This position may involve access to export-controlled technical data, technology, or information subject to U.S. export-control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
