CareMaster is hiring an experienced Lead Water Mitigation Technician for our Raleigh, NC operation.

CareMaster is a 55-year, family-owned restoration company serving North Carolina. We specialize in water, storm, fire, and mold mitigation and reconstruction. Our Raleigh market is busy and growing, and we need experienced leaders to keep pace.

PAY & INCENTIVES

• $22 – $24 per hour, based on experience and certifications

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead water mitigation jobs from setup through completion
• Supervise technicians and set the pace on-site
• Perform extraction, demolition, drying, monitoring, and equipment setup
• Ensure proper documentation, photos, and daily job notes
• Maintain jobsite safety and company standards
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, project leadership, and customers
• Train and mentor technicians
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency response

This is a hands-on leadership role, not an office position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (PLEASE READ)

Applicants must have:

• 2+ years of hands-on water mitigation experience
• Prior experience leading jobs or crews (formal title not required)
• Strong understanding of drying principles and mitigation equipment
• Ability to manage jobs independently in the field
• Professional communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to perform physical job duties (lifting, confined spaces, PPE)

PREFERRED (STRONG ADVANTAGE)

• IICRC certifications (WRT required; ASD / AMRT a plus)
• Moisture mapping and documentation experience
• Prior restoration experience beyond general labor

SCHEDULE & TERRITORY

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• On-call rotation required (emergency response is part of the role)
• Local travel within the Raleigh / Triangle area
