We're looking for a dependable, motivated Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our growing team and help maintain multiple apartment communities throughout the Raleigh area. Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform apartment turns and make-ready work
- Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections
- Maintain the overall appearance and functionality of apartment communities
- Travel between multiple apartment communities throughout the Raleigh area
- Work closely with property managers, fellow maintenance technicians, and outside vendors
Qualifications
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, handyman work, construction, or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel between properties (typically within 1–2 hours of Raleigh)
