On an average day, you will: Perform comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical exams Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic and screening tests Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Prescribe medications and therapies in compliance with state laws and practice guidelines Educate patients on conditions, treatments, and preventive care Perform minor in-office procedures as appropriate Coordinate care and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams Provide continuity of care, including triaging patient calls and messages Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer reviews, and continuing education   What You’ll Need Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license Current NC state licensure/authority to practice Current BLS certification Ability to work full-time Strong communication and collaboration skills New graduates are encouraged to apply.
