Wake Orthopaedics is a multi-practice with multiple 10 locations in Wake County, NC. We are seeking a fulltime Orthopedic Technologist/Cast Technician or Athletic Trainer. This position will work in the North Raleigh Urgent Care, working a rotational schedule model. 

The ideal Orthopedic Technologist/Cast Technician or Athletic Trainer is highly motivated, team focused and possess empathy towards patients. Candidate will be able to work at a high volume while maintaining professionalism. This position may travel in a small region within Wake County.

$10,000 commitment bonus 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include:

  1. Assist providers in providing quality medical care.
  2. Meet and greet patients while escorting to exam room.
  3. Complete triage process and ensure all information is documented in EHR, Epic.
  4. Apply and remove casts as ordered by provider.
  5. Fit patient with DME as ordered by provider and educate patient on use.
  6. Assist medical assistants as needed with patient care.
  7. Follow all state and federal regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
  8. Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.

Qualifications:  

  1. High school diploma required.
  2. OTC Certification required within a year of hire
