We are hiring a Surgical Technician, Labor and Delivery I to support our Labor and Delivery team. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help provide safe, efficient surgical and patient care. You will play an important part in maintaining a safe operating environment, assisting with patient care activities, and supporting surgical procedures.

What you'll do

  • Prepare and maintain a safe, organized operating room environment for Labor and Delivery procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and registered nurses during surgical procedures while following established safety standards.
  • Ensure surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
  • Support patient care activities, including assisting with patients in the triage area.
  • Assist with operating room cleanup, instrument care, and preparation of the Labor and Delivery surgical area for future procedures.

Who you are

  • Experience or training as a Surgical Technician or in a related clinical support role preferred.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient safety practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing quality patient care.
  • Able to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
