We are currently seeking a Traveling Senior Superintendent to lead the on-site management of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role plays a pivotal part in project execution, and you'll collaborate closely with Project Managers to drive project success and foster professional growth within the team.  


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the management of construction sites, including coordinating subcontractors and overseeing employees to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Actively mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and advance their careers within the company.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of all subcontractors on-site to ensure timely and quality completion of tasks while ensuring cooperation and high performance.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily logs and reports, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of project progress.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes to uphold high standards of workmanship, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds project specifications and industry standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial construction, with a solid track record of successful project completions.
  • Extensive experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed construction goals and project timelines.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools, with a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel overnight throughout the Southeastern U.S.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges and ensure smooth execution.
