Job Description Summary
The ProgramPar Health offers an 11-week internship program designed to provide an immersive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Par Health Intern, you’ll have the chance to contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study. This program allows you to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world corporate setting while building valuable connections through networking opportunities across the organization.
Summary of Position
The Chemistry Intern will support the Quality Control department at the Raleigh pharmaceutical site by assisting with several small-scale projects. This role will offer hands-on experience with analytical techniques, exposure to pharmaceutical quality standards, and practical applications of chemistry.
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting laboratory experiments, preparing chemical solutions, and analyzing samples under the supervision of senior chemists
- Complete one or more small-scale projects
- Accurate documentation of work and final reports
- Present results during the final week
Minimum Requirements
Enrolled in bachelor’s degree program related to chemistry or chemical engineering.
- Experience with MS Office, etc.
- Motivated self-starter, operates independently, etc.
- Strong communication skills, etc.Â
- Successful completion of General Chemistry 1 and 2.
- Some collegiate or professional lab experience.
Relationship with Others/Scope of Position
Interact with other team members and cross functionally as needed
