Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Serves as a strategic business partner to both sales and operations to guide decision making through business analysis and consultation. This high visibility role works closely with top management, KAMs, Supply Chain, and Regional Sales to analyze business drivers, sales and operations performance, promotions, initiatives, and profitability. This role also leads all sales and operations cost/forecasting and planning efforts, is primarily responsible for fully loaded marginal contribution analysis and reporting, and is a primary point of contact into corporate planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Leads and plans quarterly and periodic forecasting cycles including forecast development, consultation and review with business managers, model updates, and development of presentation materials.
  • Conducts full-cycle analysis to evaluate specific sales, operations, and business initiatives, and provides insights supporting strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Monitors and conducts research on external and internal business drivers to measure top impacts on business performance.
  • Develops and publishes periodic and ad hoc reports to communicate business results versus goals and objectives.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant analyst experience.
  • Five (5) or more years of relevant business and FP&A experience is preferred.
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus.
  • Financial modeling, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting experience.
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of US GAAP.
  • IFRS knowledge is a plus.
  • Detail oriented and comfortable with complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize information into decision-useful intelligence.
  • Superior analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within a matrix environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP, CPM, and data visualization software, and/or sales reporting software is a plus.
  • Willing and able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
  • Valid driver’s license for periodic travel.

Physical Functions

Constantly (100%) required to sit.

EQUIPMENT USED

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES

None required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to speak, read, write and comprehend English proficiently.
