Four Points by Sheraton Raleigh Arena is looking for a full‑time bartender to join the team at First Point, our on‑site restaurant featuring classic American cuisine and a full‑service bar. With a curated selection of local craft brews, wine, and specialty cocktails, First Point is a favorite gathering spot for hotel guests. If you’re passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and showcasing your mixology skills in a lively, friendly environment, we’d love to meet you.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Proficient in the appropriate service of beverages, liquor, and wine
  • Prepare and present food to meet guests' expectations
  • Create cocktails following standard beverage recipes, consistently using a jigger
  • Verify all forms of identification
  • Understand proper guest handling procedures, including in-house guest lists, credit card processes, house charges, and cash transactions
  • Responsible for conducting daily and monthly inventories
  • Collect bar bank and guest checks from designated areas
  • Ensure the restaurant is clean and organized: wash, dry, and store all dishes; sweep and mop floors; vacuum rugs; clean countertops; empty trash; and tidy cupboards and drawers
  • Check all drink orders for accuracy in pricing

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • TIPS certification or alcohol safety certification 
  • Previous bartending experience preferred

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including nights and weekends.
