Job Summary:

The Horticulturist position works on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance, clubhouse landscape, skilled landscape, maintenance work, and performance of related tasks as required. 

Day-to-Day:

• Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course and clubhouse operations. 
• Waters, fertilizes, and applies pesticides to clubhouse flower and shrubbery. 
• Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers. 
• Designs and maintains clubhouse, golf course, and commons woody plant materials and flower beds. 
• Operates and calibrates all spraying equipment needed. 
• Responsible for Maintenance of Clubhouse Potted Plants. 
• Responsible for maintaining the greenhouse as well as proper climate control settings.

About You:

• 2 years of experience working in landscape, greenhouse, or grounds maintenance.
• Driver's License.
• Pesticide Applicators License.
• A degree in Horticulture is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
