As an Application Specialist in Grid Integration, you’ll work at the intersection of technology and energy, supporting advanced engineering applications that power the world’s most complex electrical systems. You’ll collaborate with experts across multiple disciplines, leveraging cutting-edge tools like PLM platforms and engineering design software to optimize processes and deliver solutions that matter.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsible for supporting our global PLM & Engineering apps users (e.g. Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX, Engineering Base, BIM / ACC and Polarion).Â
Responsible for application documentation, creation of guidelines and training material.Â
Support and maintain our 3D standard libraries.Â
User license and access management, solving and managing support issues continuously.Â
Support and train our Global users and Power Users.Â
Reporting and collaborating with 3rd line support (Vendor and Application Suppliers).Â
Arranging User and Power User meetings.Â
Provide user support and training across departmentsÂ
Strong understanding of PLM principles and lifecycle management.Â
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Your Background
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience with PLM and engineering applications.
Strong knowledge of Teamcenter and related platforms.
Familiarity with HVDC design and engineering principles is a plus.
Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
Ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-functional teams.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
